I’m Big Cheese and this is my website. I am old enough to know better but young enough to do it anyway. This results in some crazy adventures that I get myself into and would like to share here with family, friends and anyone else out there. I am tired of various social media sites so this is my response to share snippets of my life here.

A bit about me and Big Cheese Adventures…

I am Canadian and I live in . I work in the pharmaceutical industry as a quality expert specializing in drug development. After 25+ years in this industry I have learned that like those that respect the law and like sausage they also shouldn’t see drugs being made. It is a messy process but what always amazes me is that the people who work in this industry really care about what they are doing and are VERY ethical. I love what I do and that means I work hard but I also say that I play harder. After too many years spent behind a desk, I am not in the best of shape so when I hit the half century, I decided I needed to get back to the outdoor activities I enjoyed when I was younger and as a result have gotten back into hiking and camping. When I was a kid our family had a camper van and did a lot of camping and hiking trips so I am trying to get back to doing that. My family isn’t that interested so a lot of my trips are solo these days. So, as I try to recapture my youth, but now with the benefit of time and experience, I want to be able to share that without having to pay the corporate price of most social media these days. Hence, this website.
