Project Hawaii - the genesis

For years I have told my kids that we were going to sail to Hawaii and that is the only way I was going to pay for them to visit Hawaii. I have had a dream to sail to Hawaii with my kids. The plan was to get a boat learn how to sail it and then race to Hawaii. I have talked about it for years and put it off for all sorts of reasons. I have always thought about it in the back of my mind keeping it there till the day came to make it happen.
